Update (March 4th 2025): Canadian Trackmania player CarlJr has won Red Bull Faster under somewhat controversial circumstances.

He overtook German player GranaDy right at the end, as seen in this clip:

CarlJr said: “It feels good but it’s weird to win on a bug, man. GranaDy had the most unlucky bug. But we did have a sick 1v1, props to him and how he came back.”

Red Bull has teamed up with top Trackmania creator Wirtual to bring a new in-person Trackmania tournament to the UK: Red Bull Faster.

This will take place at the MK-7 space at Red Bull Racing’s Milton Keynes HQ on Saturday March 1st 2025 from 4pm GMT, with AGON by AOC on board as monitor partner.

Online qualifiers are now open and will run until February 7th. Trackmania players globally can head to the in-game club known as Red Bull Faster’ to access the tournament’s custom maps.

Hopeful competitors can put the pedal to the metal, racing across three maps in Time Attack mode to clinch the best cumulative time on the global leaderboard. The Top 100 fastest players will advance to the stage 2 online qualifiers, also featuring three custom maps, with four heats of 25 players and a last chance heat.

The top 8 will secure a spot on the starting line at the offline Grand Finals in Milton Keynes. They will race on all eight custom maps in a knockout format, with the top 4 competing in the Grand Final.

Well-known Trackmania content creator Wirtual will host and livestream all the competition’s action across his YouTube and Twitch channels, and Red Bull will also host the event on its Twitch channel.

Red Bull said in a press release: “With the clock ticking, it’s time for seasoned pros and rising racers to grind the ladder, burn rubber on the virtual speedway, and drift, dive, and drive to pole position before qualifiers close on February 7th.

“As Red Bull Faster gears up to be the ultimate test of speed and skill, racing fans can also join the action with limited in-person spectator tickets now available.”
