Los Ratones top-laner Simon ‘Baus’ Hofverberg (aka Thebausffs) has been named the Arozzi NLC Winter 2025 Rookie of the Split.

This award was voted for by the casters and teams involved in the NLC this season.

The Swedish League of Legends player and streamer has built a name for himself with his cheeky personality and unique playstyle, which has seen him win plenty of games despite the inting number of deaths he sometimes manages to rack up!

He’s helped Los Ratones have a great season so far, having reached the NLC grand final, which takes place in Nottingham this Sunday (March 2nd 2025). Los Ratones will face the winner of the March 1st lower bracket final (Bulldog vs Nord).

The Arozzi NLC published the following information giving insight into the voting: “Each NLC team and on-air talent had voting access. Each had to vote for a top three. The first pick gave three points, second pick two points, and third pick one point.

“The three players who got the most points were Baus (41), Exofeng (35) and Humzh (10).”

Eragon has been added, with the others bringing their voices to the NLC broadcasts throughout the Winter split.

NLC Winter 2025 split broadcast talent line-up regulars Middlecott, Duckling and Solari are missing from this weekend’s line-up, with NLC caster Solari missing out due to visa issues.

Los Ratones player Velja has also been hit with visa issues, being absent from the Los Ratones London bootcamp at GiantX’s HQ this week.
