eRena Sports, the brand that merged with Esports Scotland last year, has announced a three-day ‘Phase’ esports and gaming event taking place at Murrayfield Stadium.
The new event is targeting gamers, esports enthusiasts, content creators, students and families alike, ‘blending education, competition, and interactive fun in a vibrant atmosphere’. It will take place from September 26th to 28th 2025.
Phase will feature live esports finals featuring showdowns in the newly established Education Invitational Competition.
The event will also offer workshops led by industry experts, helping participants to level up their skills in areas such as streaming and content creation while exploring pathways to becoming pro esports players.
There will also be merch and tech on show from exhibitors, alongside immersive experiences, such as simulation rigs and virtual reality demonstrations.
“Phase embodies community vibes, celebrating the vibrant gaming culture. It’s a space to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate with fellow enthusiasts, making it a must-attend celebration for everyone involved,” eRena Sports said in a press release.
eRena Sports, founded by David Hamilton of Ninja Kiwi and Consilium Sports Group, describes itself as a premier esports
events company in Scotland.
“Specialising in creating engaging events and tournaments for both grassroots and professional players, eRena Sports is committed to promoting and developing the esports landscape. In addition to itsevent offerings, the company provides educational seminars and consultancy services to industry stakeholders, traditional sports organisations, and academic institutions,” it said in a press release.
“As the founders of the inaugural Scottish Esports Cup, eRena Sports is also leading Phase 2025, an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing the growth and visibility of esports in the region.”
The news also comes after Esports Scotland founder James Hood has set up a new podcast series titled CTRL + Alt + Compete.
