Krafton Inc has officially revealed PUBG Blindspot, the latest title from PUBG Studios previously known as Project Arc.
PUBG Blindspot is a 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooter based on the popular Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) battle royale shooter, which promises fast strategy-driven combat.
“The game blends the thrill of high-intensity shooters with the strategic depth unique to the top-down perspective,” according to a press release.
A playable demo will be available on Steam starting February 21st 2025, marking the first opportunity for most players worldwide to experience the game. This will drop ahead of the latest Steam Next Fest celebration of upcoming PC games, which runs from February 24th to March 3rd.
PUBG Studios will also gather player feedback to refine and enhance the gameplay during development. The new trailer, a ‘recreation of a live streamer tournament’, is available below:

The PUBG brand in the title ‘represents PUBG Studios’ commitment to expanding into new genres, while Blindspot signifies the game’s innovative blend of top-down shooting and vision-based tactical play, offering players a fresh and engaging experience’.
Ahead of the Steam Next Fest, PUBG Studios has also released a new trailer for PUBG Blindspot, featuring Matt ‘Kickstart’ Smith, a renowned PUBG esports player, showcasing Demolition Mode, where ‘teams must strategise and execute precise gunplay to succeed’.
The news comes a couple of months after Dplus Kia win the 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship in London by a single point.
