Halo Major LAN

UK esports organisation Into the Breach (ITB) have moved into Halo esports and are one of the teams at the upcoming Halo London Major.

They have acquired the Foe roster, which consists of Jimbo (UK), TchiK (France), zMightys (Netherlands/Suriname), WuTum (Finland) and coach Wonderboy (UK).

ITB said in an announcement post they’re ‘stoked to enter a game with such depth in lore and so rich in gaming history’ and that this is a long-term investment and commitment to the game.

“We’re confident the player base and ecosystem as a whole will grow across Europe and beyond. We want to be a stalwart part of that growth, and take a community centric approach as we have done across all our other titles,” they added.

Sam Cook, Into the Breach CEO and Founder, said: “Had some good preliminary conversations with devs and others re: the ecosystem and Halo future.

“We’re confident we’re entering at the right time and aim to be at the forefront of an EU resurgence. We have a long-term and educated vision here! See you at the Majors, super psyched.”

Wonderboy added: Extremely proud to be joining Into The Breach for the rest of the 2024 season and beyond.

Into the Breach PC released by Untold Gaming

into the Breach have partnered with UK-based PC builder Untold Gaming for a special ITB-branded gaming PC.

Untold Gaming said on its Linkedin page: “We have had a great time planning and releasing this machine with Into The Breach Esports, but it’s not always smooth sailing when doing something of this scale!

“Most people just see the end product, but we would like to give a bit of insight into all the different things you have to manage when bringing a new product to market.

“One of the hurdles was making it our first website custom spec machine, meaning a user can go in and swap out parts with no influence from us.”
