The Northern League of Legends NLC Spring 2024 broadcast talent line-up has today been announced, and Archarom is back.
Portuguese talent Alexandre ‘Archarom’ Maia (pictured above) will be returning as desk host of the NLC, one year after he and other existing 2022 NLC casters were quietly let go, with a new line-up put in place.
He was part of an NLC broadcast line-up that made a big impact, with several going on to have stints in the higher-tier LEC afterwards, such as Jamada, Guldborg, Troubleinc and Nymaera.
It also comes after UK casters Foxdrop and Initialise were added to the broadcast team midway through last year, with them also returning for 2024.
Archarom has also worked on other game broadcasts, including CSGO Blast Premier. He’s also known for his love of LoL champion Pantheon; this clip of Archarom reacting to Pantheon being picked in the NLC received 10,000 upvotes on Reddit.
His return to the NLC is to take nothing away from last year’s NLC host, Wita, who did a great job and has also been working on more TFT broadcasts.
The NLC Spring 2024 broadcast talent line-up, then, gives us a mix of new and old faces, with several returning from 2023.
It includes:
- Archarom
- Hiprain
- Middlecott
- Eragon (who is also part of the recently announced LEC Winter 2024 broadcast talent line-up)
- Roodood
- Foxdrop
- Initialise
- Duckling
- Veteran
Initialise added: “Very happy to announce I’ll be back on the team for NLC this year! You’ll be seeing me on the mic as PbP and on the desk with the goat himself, Archarom.”
The NLC is of course the EMEA Regional League for the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries.
The NLC Spring 2024 broadcast talent line-up comes as team rosters are being announced.
It also comes one month after the first NLC RPS winner was announced, as the NLC Spring 2024 start date and relegation changes were confirmed.
The NLC Spring 2024 will kick off on Wednesday January 24th.
