PSG Talon bot laner Tsou ‘Wako’ Wei-yang says his team must learn from their defeat to Golden Guardians at MSI 2023 London yesterday.
He was speaking to Esports News UK after the 3-0 defeat which saw PSG eliminated from the League of Legends tournament in London, and Golden Guardians reaching the MSI 2023 bracket stage.
Wako said: “We definitely had a lot of pity on stage, because I think we didn’t show our normal performance we have made maybe in scrims and practise, so we’re feeling pity.
“Maybe on stage when we face a team that can play super aggressively from the early game, it feels like we just have a very messy game tempo. So because of this, we need to take on board feedback and make some improvements on this.”
“I really enjoyed playing against different teams from different regions at MSI 2023, that’s been a very good experience for me.”

Taiwanese League of Legends team PSG Talon won the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) 2023 Spring Split earlier in the year, and Wako says the goal is to win the Summer Split before heading to Worlds 2023.
“My goal for the summer split is to become summer champions, and after that we want to get back to the Worlds stage,” Wako said. “At Worlds I hope we can have a better performance, have some improvements and also, we want to leave no regrets.”
Wako also thanked the fans for their support and said he appreciated hearing them cheering in the Copperbox Arena.
What did PSG Wako think of London – and British food?
As League of Legends players and personalities gather in London for MSI 2023, many have been talking about the food here on social media.
Ashley Kang and Travis Gafford are not fans of it, and we’ve seen some uncertain reactions from reporters towards the full english breakfasts available in the press room!
But for Wako, he had a different point of view.
“We have very good accommodation, and in terms of the food, personally speaking I’m quite satisfied and I really enjoyed the food,” Wako said. “It’s quite different from my previous experience, but still, I like the food here!”
Earlier this month, PSG and Talon Esports extended their partnership for a further three years, and were pictured sipping British tea at MSI 2023.
