The Twitch Rivals PUBG EMEA Showdown will get underway on Friday December 9th 2022 from 5pm GMT, with a mix of streamers doing battle.
To celebrate the launch of Vikendi Reborn map in PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton Inc has announced the Twitch Rivals: PUBG EMEA Showdown – an online competition featuring 64 Twitch streamers from across EMEA.
Teams will compete in four high-stakes matches for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
Eight key streamers have been chosen as team captains. These include:
- DanucD (CEE)
- GaGOD (UK)
- KayzahR (DACH)
- LittleBigWhale (FR)
- Mithrain (TR)
- Moonryde (IT)
- WackyJacky101 (Nordics)
- xxxthefocusxxx (SP)
These captains will draft rosters from a pool of available players to compete. There will be three matches contested by eight-person squads, and one match with a 32v32 platoon showdown.
The streamers will be fighting it out over four matches, each with unique game settings, its own prize pool and champion.
The event will be broadcast on the Twitch Rivals channel, and the community can also tune in on the channels of the eight captains who will all be streaming their matches.
There will also be exclusive event Twitch Drops. Fans are required to link their Krafton ID to their Twitch accounts here to claim the following items:

PUBG has some solid esports talent. Earlier this year, Team UK won the PUBG Nations Cup 2022, with vard named tournament MVP.
