Update (May 21st 2022): Moist Esports have now reached the Rocket League World Championship (Worlds). They beat UK organisation Endpoint 4-3 today in a thrilling reverse sweep, during the lower bracket quarter finals in the Spring Europe Regional Event 2.
Original article: Moist Esports, the new organisation founded last year by popular US YouTuber Cr1TiKaL, have signed Team Queso’s Rocket League roster featuring UK players.
This consists of Joyo, Rise (both from the UK), French player Vatira and UK coach Noah, who was previously a sub player at Queso.
Moist made the announcement in this video, with Cr1TiKaL talking about comparing humans exploring the solar system with his dream of winning a Rocket League world championship:
Last month, Team Queso finished runners-up at the RLCS Winter Major after an incredible lower-bracket run, with UK player Rise breaking a goals record.
Cr1TiKaL added in this YouTube video: “I am giddy with excitement, I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve who just wandered downstairs and caught Santa Claus leaving Robux under the tree, I feel like I’m eight years old again and I just watched Spider-Man for the first time.
“It’s not a prank or anything. Moist Esports have acquired the Queso roster, they’re probably the best EU team and we’ve been working hard to give them the best possible deal. They’ll be representing us in the major.
“Moist Esports, a name that commands respect and illicits fear… and in the short eight or nine months we’ve existed we’ve done some incredible stuff so far. This is our biggest leap in the esports scene.”

“We’re extremely honoured that the Queso guys chose us, and we hope all of you are as excited about it as we are. To join Rocket League means a lot to us and to go in with a team of Queso’s calibre, is a dream come true. It’s unreal and we’re unbelievably fucking excited about it.”
Moist also compete in the FGC (fighting game community) in Smash Bros, Brawlhalla and Guilty Gear Strive.
Cr1TiKaL has millions of followers across multiple platforms, including more than 10m on YouTube alone.
The news comes as the RLCS Spring Split begins. It has a new format – it will be played out with a 16-team, double-elimination bracket. Similar to previous splits, there will be three regional events per region throughout the split.
Based on performance throughout the split, teams will qualify for the RLCS Spring Major which takes place at London’s Copper Box Arena from June 29th to July 3rd.
Moist will be playing in the RLCS Spring EU Regional Event 1 (Dacia Spring Cup) this weekend and Cr1TiKaL will be streaming the matches from his Twitch channel.
