We were lucky enough to get our hands on the official League of Legends monitor ahead of its release at Insomnia 68 today – and you can win one.
PC gaming brand AGON by AOC partnered with Riot Games to produce the first LoL monitor, which features a base complete with reactive lighting.
The AG275QXL features a League of Legends Mode, the LoL QuickSwitch, power on and off sounds, Light FX Sync and the LoL Signature OSD design.
It’s a 27-inch monitor with an IPS screen, QHD resolution and a 170Hz refresh rate. It also boasts Adaptive Sync with FreeSync Premium and a response time of 1ms GtG. The monitor also has VESA DisplayHDR 400, ShadowControl and a Flicker-Free mode.
Esports News UK editor had a quick look at the LoL monitor at Insomnia 68 today at the Birmingham NEC, and like what he saw. You can hear more of his initial thoughts in the video at the top of this article.
In essence, this monitor is all about the light panel and the LoL QuickSwitch. You can use the latter to change the colour of the panel, the pattern, its brightness, whether it reacts to audio or in-game League of Legends gameplay or not. It’s a neat touch and we feel the League of Legends community should like what they see.
