A host of British casters and hosts will join Red Bull Worlds Simplified this weekend – a League of Legends World Championship stream for newcomers.
The show – taking place this Saturday October 31st – aims to celebrate LoL’s most prestigious esports event and demystify the esport for new viewers.
Red Bull Worlds Simplified will feature Excel Esports jungler and host Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, casters Ciernan ‘Excoundrel’ Lowe and Joseph ‘Munchables’ Fenny, hosts Frankie Ward and Tom Deacon, G2 analyst Luciana ‘AngelArcher’ Nadrag and more.
The stream will be broadcast from London’s Gfinity Arena. It takes place as Suning Gaming prepare to play against Damwon Gaming in the 2020 Worlds final.
Red Bull Worlds Simplified is the alternative finals stream for newcomers to League of Legends, offering casting and pre- and post-match coverage that aims to make it easy for anyone to understand.
Worlds 2020 began in September, and millions of viewers once again tuned in to watch the best teams in the world face-off.
League has more than 140 playable champions, hundreds of moves and plenty of items nowadays, making it tricky for some to learn from scratch.
Red Bull has had other activities in League of Legends, including the Red Bull Beginners Guide and 1v1 tournament Red Bull Solo Q.
Red Bull said in a press release: “With millions of viewers tuning in online, the World Finals is the highlight of the global esports calendar.
“Red Bull Worlds Simplified will help newcomers understand the thrill of every baron and dragon play, and the tactical mind games behind the champion draft. Alongside the star studded host of broadcast talent, the stream will also feature high profile guests from around the world of gaming.”
Red Bull Worlds Simplified will take place on October 31st at 9am GMT at twitch.tv/redbull. There’s more info over at redbull.com/red-bull-worlds-simplified
