IDK (I Don’t Know) have become Rainbow Six Siege LAN champions after taking down Vitality at Dreamhack Valencia.
In order to get there, they had to make a run through the lower bracket, after losing their opening game to NiP.
The British/French mix rallied their way out of the lower bracket, defeating Mockit, moving onto face NA’s No.2 Rogue in the quarter-finals.
It was a tense hour or so for IDK’s fan Discord server, as the game was played off-stream, leaving fans only receiving the occasional update through the SiegeGG and Dreamhack Valencia Twitter page.
But that ray of hope shone through and IDK took out Rogue 7-6 on the final map in overtime, pushing their way into the semi-finals.
For most pundits out there, the journey of IDK would surely end here, going up against Penta, Siege’s most dominant team in their relatively short esports history.
After a good start to map 1, IDK got destroyed on Coastline to Penta’s roaming aggression. But IDK edged out the final map to advance to the finals in a shocking victory.
In the final, they met Vitality and took a strong 2-0 series.
Congratulations to IDK on their DreamHack Valencia victory! Here are our stats from their Grand Final match.

There may be a little bit of saltyness in the mouths that once sang “It’s Coming Home”, but one thing is for certain, it’s great to at least see some UK esports victories.
IDK have made it publicly clear that this tournament was mainly practice for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Paris Major, giving them valuable LAN experience.
Clearly, winning the minor is a huge confidence boost for them.
WE DID IT, WE WON DREAMHACK VALENCIA! Was a long and fun weekend, but now it’s time to relax and sit with my trophy ?

Hopefully, this confidence, momentum and sheer skill of the line-up will propel them to Pro-League heights and another amazing performance at the Paris Major between August 13th to 19th.
Whether or not this team will remain as ‘I Don’t Know’ by then is uncertain. This orgless team is one of the hottest talents in the Siege professional realm. With the likes of NiP and Cloud9 being two of the most recent entries into the scene, perhaps it won’t be long until these LAN champions find a home.
So after winning #DHVLC18 and the fact we are top of the PL right now and are going Paris next month. I'd just like to put out there we are still taking offers for representation. ????
