Esports News UK editor Dom Sacco hosted a panel discussion at EGX 2017 last weekend.
The session focused on grassroots esports and brought together experts from the world of UK esports, including ESL UK’s Rob Black, epicLAN’s Jon Winkle and MnM Gaming’s Kalvin Chung.
The 16-minute panel took place on the Twitch stage at the annual games show EGX at the Birmingham NEC. It was put together by ESL UK and Intel, and was broadcast live on Twitch’s own channel.
Panelists discussed everything from the importance of LAN, the path to pro, that DIY ethic, what makes grassroots esports great and more.
