The final prizes for the Road to EGX Overwatch tournament have been revealed.
Each of the players in the winning team at the main EGX event taking place September 21st to 24th will take away a top-of-the-line Omen by HP laptop.
The individual player of the tournament (as voted by the admins/casters) will win an Omen X machine.
The details were confirmed to Esports News UK by Epic Gaming MD Jon Winkle (epic.LAN is running the tournament on a white-label basis for EGX).
Road to EGX kicked off back in March.
There was an online qualifier at the end of April, won by Elysium Gaming. They take the second of eight spots in the overall Road to EGX tournament.
The third qualifier, also online, kicks off this Saturday. Signups close on Friday at 12 midday, with 12 teams currently signed up.
Jon Winkle said: “We don’t plan to have any coverage of the group stages, but the elimination will take place on May 27th with the top eight teams and will be streamed at twitch.tv/egx_esports.”
