Our 24-hour charity stream kicks off on Saturday March 4th from midday, and here are our first batch of confirmed participants.
We’ll be raising money for an amazing charity called SpecialEffect, as part of their GameBlast initiative. They put fun, inclusion and confidence back into the lives of people with disabilities by helping them to play video games.
Please help us reach our (incredibly ambitious) target of £5,000 so that people with disabilities can enjoy the games we take for granted.
To donate, please visit our Justgiving page here.
We will have plenty of League of Legends matches but hope to have a small mix of other competitive games too, such as CSGO, Rocket League, Hearthstone and others. Bookmark our Twitch channel here.
We’re still looking for people to take part and casters to cast this! It’s open to everyone. If you’re interested in taking part, please fill this form in so we can schedule everything.
CONFIRMED PLAYERS SO FAR (CHECK THIS PAGE NEXT WEEK FOR MORE ADDITIONS)
Excuse the awful graphics below (we’re journalists, not artists)! More to be added over the coming week.
More TBC soon

Dom is an award-winning writer and finalist of the Esports Journalist of the Year 2023 award. He graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 degree in Multi-Media Journalism in 2007.
As a long-time gamer having first picked up the NES controller in the late ’80s, he has written for a range of publications including GamesTM, Nintendo Official Magazine, industry publication MCV and others. He worked as head of content for the British Esports Federation up until February 2021, when he stepped back to work full-time on Esports News UK and offer esports consultancy and freelance services. Note: Dom still produces the British Esports newsletter on a freelance basis, so our coverage of British Esports is always kept simple – usually just covering the occasional press release – because of this conflict of interest.
