Here’s a quick recap of this evening’s matches, brilliantly casted by ESL regular Munchables and special guest YouTuber Foxdrop.
In the first tie of the evening, GLB vs Paria, it was a convincing 2-0 series to GLB.
However, in the second game Paria caught GLB out in a surprise 4-1 teamfight. They continued to defend, to try and survive, and give GLB something to deal with, but in the end the likes of GLB’s top-laner Delitto, jungler Trillpe and mid-laner Vrow proved far too much for Paria to handle.
Next up on the main stream was current Premiership holders MnM Gaming up against Bulldog. There was no Deadly as ADC for MnM this week, with Charlietea moving across as a makeshift ADC.
Bulldog started off the brighter team, going 3-0 up in game one thanks to a nice bot lane play with SirScott and support Archie, and two kills to jungler J3T.
Bulldog continued their positive start, establishing a 6-3 lead, and a fight at baron on the 27-minute mark saw them take a four-for-nothing trade to go 13-3 ahead. This soon led to a surprise 1-0 in game one to Bulldog.
MnM would get their revenge, however, with some superb performances from their players in game two. Larssen in the mid-lane went 8/1/5 while jungler Candyfloss went 7/2/7.
An ace at the 30-minute mark by baron resulted in a surrender from Bulldog.
In the other matches played off-stream this evening, Team Xenex beat Excel in the first game but Excel pulled it back to go 1-1 in the series.
And Cyclone tied 1-1 with Enclave to round up tonight’s matches.
