Former Giants Gaming jungler Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian (far left) has joined Team Roccat in time for the EU LCS League of Legends spring 2017 split.
He joins teammates Hren “Phaxi” Ambroz, Petter “Hjärnan” Freyschuss, Bae In “Wadid” Kim, and finally Felix “Betsy” Edling, who has resigned with the organisation.
Roccat revealed the new roster in a Facebook post, which states that Maxlore joined Roccat despite receiving others from other teams.
The org said in a statement: “After a challenging 2016 EU LCS season we are prepared to bounce back in 2017. Together with our coaches, we were able to start building our roster early. We held extensive tryouts to find the optimal team.
“Maxlore is one of the best up-and-coming junglers in Europe. We were impressed by his vocal shot-calling, he was our first choice for the jungle and we are stoked he joined Roccat despite other offers.”
“We finished up our roster core with Maxlore, one of the best up-and-coming junglers in Europe, who played a major role in the 3rd place finish of Giants Gaming in the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split.
“Impressed by his vocal shot-calling, he solidified his position in tryouts as our first choice for the jungle and we are stoked he joined Roccat despite other offers.”
Maxlore joined his teammates in Berlin yesterday (January 4th) and will start practicing with them full-time.
Proud to be in ROCCAT! Really looking forward to the upcoming split with my new team! https://t.co/k4Vt1GRqkY
