In a recent Radio 4 programme on eSports, BBC says that ESL is working on a women’s-only eSports league.
The programme focused on the recent ESL UK League of Legends Premiership finals at MCM London Comic Con, and it’s not clear in the report whether ESL will be launching the women’s league, or if it will be an ESL UK one.
A BBC reporter confirmed to eSports News UK that ESL told BBC it is working on a new women’s league.
eSports News UK has reached out to ESL UK for clarification.
