eSports News UK spoke to TCA eSports’ support player Raizins, founder Luna and ADC Deadly following the ESL UK League of Legends Premiership finals this weekend.
TCA lost to MnM in a close semi-final, with MnM going on to win the tournament.
Raizins said: “Our team gets an insane epic LAN buff – we play way better at LAN than we do online.
“In the last two weeks of scrims, we were 0/16, okay we won one game but that team was effectively falling apart.
“When you’re online, it’s so much harder to speak to your teammates one-on-one. We also have way more banter when we’re here, if you sleep, eat and breathe together, that’s what a gaming house is for, it’s kind of like the same thing at LAN.
“You feel more motivated because everyone around you is motivated.”
Raizins added: “I’m happy with how we played at LAN, I was a bit disappointed in game three, I ended up getting caught and I’m a bit disappointed I let my team down like that, but in the end I thought we actually played way better than expected.
“Mad props to Deadly, it was his first season in ESL. He’s like a child prodigy and I’m sure he can go places if he keeps going.”
