UK organisation exceL eSports have enjoyed some positive PR after being featured in their local paper, the Wisbech Standard.
Titled ‘Friday Bridge brothers take eSports gaming business to new height’, the brief article provides a general look at the organisation which was set up in 2014.
It mentions MD Joel Holmes-Darby and operations director Kieran Holmes-Darby, exceL’s team of 15 volunteering staff and 10,000 Twitter followers.
Joel and Kieran told the paper: “We wanted to help change the perceptions of relatives and the general public about electronic sports.”

On exceL’s website, the org says its three main values are commitment, professionalism and integrity.
“We value commitment, professionalism and integrity and we combine these core ideals with our expertise and our passion for eSports to foster growth and to create a profitable and successful organisation,” the org said in a statement.
eSports News UK recently featured exceL in a League of Legends summer 2016 split preview video, produced by our video editor Rob Allen:
