Red Bull has announced a new 5G UK eSports tournament with live finals taking place in November.
Players will represent the North or the South across five games: League of Legends, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Project Cars and Street Fighter V.
Online qualifiers start from August 29th for Project Cars, during the last day of i58. The tournament is open to everyone.
There are four rounds of online qualifiers, with the best players reaching the quarter finals in September. The winners here will make it to the regional finals in Manchester and London, taking place in October.
Regional finals champions will become part of Team North or Team South and play against the other team in the final in November. The overall winners will be awarded with an all-expenses paid trip to Japan.
The dates and venues for the regional finals and the grand final have not yet been announced. Matches will also be streamed live on Twitch.
Red Bull 5G actually started in Japan four years ago, where East vs West Japan played each other in games such as Gran Turismo 5 and Battlefield 3.
