Meanwhile, fans are also awaiting the release of another free-to-play tactical shooter mobile game. Valorant Mobile was China’s biggest 2025 mobile game launch, but its global release has yet to be confirmed. With a February 2026 global launch, Rainbow 6 may gain an edge in the highly competitive market.
Rainbow 6 Mobile will be available on both iOS and Android.
Which game modes will be included in Rainbow 6 Mobile?
The original Rainbow 6 game is well-known for its fast-paced action and high-skill mechanics. As such, the mobile game’s developers took extra care to ensure these hallmark features translate well to mobile.

Rainbow 6 Mobile will include 5v5 PvP competition in three modes: Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch.
Map designs for these game modes will be inspired by classic Rainbow 6 Siege, translating across the iconic identities of Bank, Border, Clubourse, Oregon, and Villa. However, they will also be adding two mobile-exclusive maps, Restaurant and Summit.
There will also be 20+ operators for players to choose from, including Ash, Mute, Dokkaebi, and newly added operator LION.

Players can compete in Ranked matches, Quick Play, and private matches.
What pre-registration exclusive rewards are available?
To celebrate the global mobile launch, pre-registration exclusive rewards will be available. These rewards are sign-up dependent, meaning that the more players pre-register, the more rewards are available to unlock.
The full reward milestone timeline includes several cosmetic items such as weapon skins and charms.

Will there be an esports scene attached to the game?
Considering the historic success of PUBG and Call of Duty’s Mobile adaptations, and Valorant Mobile esports taking root in China after its 2025 regional release, Rainbow 6 Mobile will likely seek to establish its own esports ecosystem.
The main Rainbow 6 game already has a well-established ecosystem, with annual international competitive circuits that lead to the Six Invitationals, its global Championship.

Therefore, Rainbow 6 Mobile has the potential to launch off the back of its established counterpart, hinged on the game’s popularity post-launch.
Given the roaring success of mobile esports around the world, it is a market ripe for tapping.
