EA Sports has showcased that Career Mode in EA FC 26 will be updated to be closer to real-life football.
And an increasingly integral part of modern football is inside access documentaries, filming inside dressing rooms.
Sunderland Till I Die started the ball rolling to clear the way for Disney+’s extremely popular Welcome to Wrexham series.
Now, these types of documentaries can happen during your own Career Mode saves in EA FC 26.
One of the big changes for EA FC 26 is the inclusion of unexpected events to make each Career season feel fresh.
These random challenges will make each Career Mode save feel different and make each season unique.
One of these events will be the choice to allow an inside access documentary to be filmed about your team.
Of course, there are upsides like increased exposure and revenue to keep the board happy.
But it will also put more pressure on your players and put all of your decisions under much heavier scrutiny.
Wrexham have benefitted massively through three consecutive promotions, yet UK betting sites don’t favour them to complete a fourth this season.
Meanwhile, the Built in Birmingham documentary didn’t exactly give the UK a good impression of NFL legend Tom Brady.
All unexpected events confirmed for EA FC 26 Career Mode
Other unexpected events for EA FC 26 have been confirmed, including star players feeling homesick and wanting to leave the club.
Another is the opposition fans setting off fireworks outside the team’s hotel to make your players more tired in a match.
Similarly, a dodgy team meal can hit your Career Mode squad with an epidemic of food poisoning.
In a more positive event, fans can boost season ticket sales to give you a bigger transfer budget.
There is also the chance of a multi-million-pound financial takeover, but that will increase board demands.
Although bank errors can occur too, temporarily freezing most of your transfer budget.
Additionally, there is the chance that a player’s wages leak publicly, causing dressing room unrest and the need to renegotiate some contracts.
Fortunately, at the start of your career, you can set how frequently you want these events to occur or even turn them off.
But once you start a career, that frequency cannot then be changed from low, medium, or high.
This, along with the possibly disastrous EA FC 26 Career Mode live manager market, should make the mode very entertaining.
