The final day of the Equal Esports Cup (EEC) Group Stage saw many surprise results that completely changed the order of Group B.
Galions Pearl and Supernova Comets must face each other in a tiebreaker match for their chance to qualify for the playoffs.
Partly thanks to SK Gaming Avarosa, who defeated the former first-place team to place them in the tiebreaker.
Galions Pearl faces Supernova Comets in tiebreaker

It was all to play for in Group B, and the teams knew it.
Supernova Comets and Solary Academy were the first to start, with British players Isabella ‘Izzeeri’ and Evie ‘Pivotless’ Pullen.
Solary Academy managed to take the win and secure first place in Group B.
Meanwhile, SK Gaming Avarosa defeated Galions Pearl in a surprise twist for the group.
SK Gaming Avarosa were at the bottom of the group for much of the Group Stage while Galions Pearl were on top.
In a moment of redemption, the team won against Galions Pearl in a precarious position.
It all came down to the final match of Group B.
In the end, Nexus Reapers were able to steal victory from Last Minute Airlines to secure their place in Playoffs.
Leaving both Galions Pearl and Supernova Comets tied for third place in the group.
Previously, it was Galions Pearl that bested Supernova Comets in their Group Stage match.
However, since then, Supernova Comets with Izzeeri have proven themselves a force to be reckoned with.
The tiebreaker will be a single best-of-one to decide who will go through to the Playoffs.
The match will take place later today at 6pm BST.
G2 Hel’s win streak comes to an end
The main highlight from Group A was the match between the top teams, G2 Hel and Vitality Rising Bees.
G2 Hel were on their way to being undefeated throughout the EEC Group Stage, with only Vitality Rising Bees standing in their way.
Both teams had already qualified for the Playoffs after yesterday’s matches.
So this was a matter of pride for the major esports organisation-backed teams.
Despite previous records and current form favouring G2 Hel, Vitality Rising Bees were able to take one game away from them.
Ending their win streak at EEC and proving that G2 Hel could be beaten.
At least for one game.
Ups and downs for British players at Equal Esports Cup
Meanwhile, it was another disappointing day for many British players who were knocked out of the tournament.
The British stars on WLG Female Stars were unable to salvage a victory after losing to third seed, Zerance Bloom.
Last Minute Airlines with Scarlett ‘Naddy’ Bettison were also sent home in last place, after SK Gaming Avarosa’s shock win.
In more positive news, British top laner Pivotless will proceed to the Playoffs with Solary Academy.
While Izzeeri will be left with one last chance in the tiebreaker later today.
Heading into the Playoffs of EEC, G2 Hel will be the favourites on LoL betting sites, with Vitality Rising Bees following close behind.
