G2 Hel and Vitality Rising Bees head to Playoffs at Equal Esports Cup

The top three teams of Group A have been decided at the Equal Esports Cup (EEC) Group Stage and will proceed into the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, Group B is set to finish in fireworks to determine the teams heading to the Playoffs.

British stars on Supernova Comets and Solary Academy will face off to secure their place and put the other at risk of elimination.

Group A finalised at Equal Esports Cup

Day 4 of the EEC was the nail in the coffin for Group A as the top three teams secured their place in the Playoffs.

G2 Hel were the first to cross the line after defeating Zerance Bloom to maintain their undefeated streak.

Zerance Bloom was at risk of a marginal elimination if it wasn’t for Vitality Rising Bees, who came to their rescue.

The French-based esports organisation defeated Femmes Fatales to secure both Zerance Bloom’s and their place in the Playoffs.

With the records as they stand right now, G2 Hel, Vitality Rising Bees, and Zerance Bloom are all set to proceed to the Playoffs.

All that’s left to play for on the final day of the Group Stage is their seeding in the Playoffs bracket.

Vitality Rising Bees will attempt to end G2 Hel’s win streak to secure their place as the top seed in the group.

If unsuccessful, then Zerance Bloom has a chance to take the second seed if they beat the bottom-placed WLG Female Stars.

Group B set for explosive finale in Equal Esports Cup Group Stage

Unlike the other group, Group B has it all to play for on the final day of the EEC Group Stage.

Each team has one last chance to qualify for the Playoffs, depending on their result during their matches today.

With the exception of SK Gaming Avarosa, who so far haven’t won a single series.

However, they still could play spoiler to Galions Pearl, who held a comfortable lead up until yesterday’s match.

They’re now tied for the top position with Supernova Comets and Solary Academy, which feature British talent.

The two teams will go head-to-head on the final day to fight for the best position to qualify for the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, British AD Carry Scarlett ‘Naddy’ Bettison with Last Minute Airlines will face Nexus Reapers at 9pm later today.

Both need to win in order to have a chance to make the Playoffs.

However, Last Minute Airlines should be the favourites after defeating the first seed, Galions Pearl.

Disappointment for British players on WLG Female Stars

Elsewhere in the EEC, the British players on WLG Female Stars saw yet another loss to joint bottom-placed Las Divinas.

The team will now try to salvage some pride as they face Zerance Bloom.

Taking a single game will result in Zerance Bloom being the third seed of the group to start their Playoffs run in the lower bracket.

The remaining British players in the tournament will be playing key matches later today to determine their fates.

Isabella ‘Izzeeri’ with Supernova Comets will take on Evie ‘Pivotless’ Pullen and Solary Academy to secure the best position for Playoffs.

The losing team will be at risk of elimination if Nexus Reapers are able to defeat Last Minute Airlines.

The match between Supernova Comets and Solary Academy kicks off later today, at 5pm BST.

Heading into the Playoffs of EEC, G2 Hel will be the favourites on LoL betting sites as they currently go undefeated.
