Venomcrest Serpents pull off miracle in reverse sweep at UKEL 4 Nations Spring Finals

Venomcrest Serpents stunned the audience as they took home the title of 4 Nations 2025 Spring champions.

The series provided fans with an incredible amount of action, as the series went to all five games.

Venomcrest Serpents did the impossible and reverse-swept their season rivals, Int Quick.

Venomcrest Serpents’ scenic route to the finals

Venomcrest Serpents were one of the top teams from the regular season, only losing to season rivals Int Quick.

This placed them in a strong position heading into the playoffs.

Skipping the first round and being placed in the upper bracket.

However, their playoff run would not be as smooth once they face Int Quick once again in the upper bracket final.

It was Int Quick that came out on top, much to Venomcrest Serpents’ dismay, having lost to them yet again.

Now in the lower bracket final and at risk of being eliminated, Venomcrest Serpents would face Brod & Friends.

Ultimately, they were able to persevere and continue to the UKEL 4 Nations Spring Final.

Going into the Grand Final, an emergency substitution was made with Venomcrest Serpents bringing in AD Carry, Ronan ‘Chemera’ Stewart.

Their opponents were once again Int Quick in a repeat of the upper bracket final and continuation of the season-long rivalry.

UKEL 4 Nations Spring Final at Staffordshire University

Int Quick were the favourites heading into the finals, as they had always found a way to defeat Venomcrest Serpents.

However, Venomcrest Serpents did take one game win against them in their previous meeting, and had strong performances previously.

The teams would head to the University of Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent for the Grand Finals in front of a live audience.

The first game saw a return of a familiar match-up as Int Quick locked in Vayne top to counter Venomcrest Serpents’ K’Sante.

Int Quick’s solo laners of Kallon ‘Kerberos’ Ram and BZ were able to lay down the early pressure on their lane opponents.

Despite this, Venomcrest Serpents took first blood as they punished the early aggression.

However, an early fight in favour of Int Quick gave Kerberos’ Vayne some early kills.

Kerberos was then able to use this advantage to pull the team through a pivotal team fight around the Atakhan.

Using the lead they had gained, Int Quick were able to close out the game and take the series lead.

The second game became a bloody one as both sides vied for control.

Int Quick’s jungler, Agnė ‘Karina’ Ivaškevičiūtė, got the game started with an early level three kill onto Venomcrest Serpents.

Forcing Venomcrest Serpents to fight at every step, Int Quick controlled the pace to gain the early advantage.

Eventually ending the game with a total of 46 kills.

Heading into game three, Int Quick were one game away from taking the title.

However, they were met with equal aggression as Venomcrest Serpents hit back hard.

Despite moving Chemera into the mid lane and taking scaling champions, Venomcrest Serpents secured most of the early kills.

Matching the aggression from game two, Venomcrest Serpents took game three with 30 kills.

Venomcrest Serpents found their winning strategy as Chemera would stay in the mid lane for the rest of the series.

Going into the fourth game, the team prepared a team composition with easy pick potential and skirmishing power.

Punishing every minor mistake that Int Quick made, Venomcrest Serpents took control of the game.

In complete contradiction to the previous two games, Venomcrest Serpents slowly added to their lead until they were finally able to end the game.

Taking us to a fifth and final game, each team was under immense pressure to perform.

Once again, Venomcrest Serpents were quick to punish Int Quick’s mistakes.

But Int Quick would go down so easily and took the fight back to them.

Venomcrest Serpents were able to gain a slight lead, but that all changed after one fight around the Atakhan.

Utilising this advantage, Venomcrest Serpents maintained a lead throughout the rest of the game.

Finally ending the game and series after locking down the carries of Int Quick.

Thus becoming the UKEL 4 National 2025 Spring Champions.
