Los Ratones have defeated Nord Esports to become the Northern League of Legends Championship 2025 Spring Champions.
The crowd favourite team took the crown at Leagues Disrupt at the K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
They’ll now head to compete at the EMEA Masters 2025 Spring in just a few days time.
Los Ratones defeat Nord Esports
The British team, led by streamer Marc ‘Ceadrel’ Lamont, took down the Scandinavia-based organisation Nord Esports in a 3-0 series.
Despite the scoreline, the teams did not disappoint as there was much back-and-forth, much to the fans’ delight.
Nord Esports were quick to assert dominance after picking up many kills in the early game.
However, Los Ratones wouldn’t go down easily, as proven by Simon ‘Baus’ Hofverberg, after he caught Frederik ‘NoWay’ Hinteregger off-guard.
Los Ratones would slowly close the deficit to Nord Esports as they secured picks where they could.
Ultimately, they were able to gain enough gold to win a pivotal team fight in the top lane.
They would later build upon this advantage to take the first game.
Giving themselves some important momentum for the rest of the series.
This would prove to be effective as the following game would be harder than the last.
Nord Esports looked to come back hard at Los Ratones after NoWay secured one of his signature picks, Xerath.
Despite this, it was Los Ratones that would take the lead after taking down NoWay and securing a Feat of Strength for the team.
Overall, Los Ratones looked more organised than Nord Esports in game 2, which gave them the ability to control team fights.
Amidst the chaos, they were able to dive the selected target, allowing the jungler Veljko ‘Velja’ Čamdžić to deal some serious damage in the chaos.
The third game looked significantly better for Nord Esports, as Tamás ‘Vizicsacs’ Kiss and Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankowski were unleashed.
Through Jankos’ ability to pick off any isolated player, Nord Esports earned for themselves a gold lead that they would then leverage into kills for the team.
It all looked to be in Nord Esports’ favour, having now taken the lead and what was soon to be the game.
Unexpectedly, Los Ratones were able to win a single team fight despite the deficit.
Thanks to Baus’ earlier push in the bot lane, this left their base wide open and defenceless for Los Ratones.
The team would soon end the game and close out the series 3-0.
With the end of the series, Los Ratones emerge as the number one seed for the NLC as they dive headfirst into EMEA Masters Spring.
Nord Esports will also join them as the second seed for the NLC.
Kicking off on Tuesday, June 3rd, the best teams from across Europe will once again face off to decide the best tier 2 team in Europe.
As the sun sets on K.B. Hallen, many fans will have fond memories of Leagues Disrupt.
Fans, friends, and families travelled across the world to attend one of the biggest tier 2 League of Legends events that Europe has ever seen.
