Monster Hunter Wilds has officially confirmed its new collaboration alongside Street Fighter 6 that will launch on May 28th.
This isn’t the first Street Fighter collaboration of the year, as the game also teamed up with Overwatch 2 at the beginning of May to produce eight new crossover skins.
What will the Monster Hunter x Street Fighter 6 collaboration include?
Players will be able to get a free new armour during the collaboration, with the ‘Akuma hunter layered armour’ going live when the update launches at the end of May.
The armour comes with some exciting features as it is fitted with fist-focused actions and Blanka-chan Palico layered armour.

Although the armour is free, it won’t be immediately gifted to players once they enter the game as a side mission needs to be completed to earn the reward. The ‘Ultimate Strength’ side mission is only available to players with a Hunter Rank of 21 or higher.
The good news for more inexperienced gamers is that when the collaboration officially launches it won’t be a limited time event, meaning lower level players have plenty of time to reach the level requirements and earn the armour that will become a permanent feature in-game from May 28th.
For those ready to start the mission when it goes live, head over to Quinn who is located at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp for more information.
