British-based Los Ratones have secured the final spot at the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) 2025 Spring Split Finals held at League Disrupt, after defeating fellow British team Verdant.
Owned by the popular streamer and recent Red Bull athlete, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, the team appears to be back in form and an unstoppable force once again.
The NLC Finals will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of the Leagues Disrupt event, featuring the NLC grand final, various performances, and entertainment.
In addition, co-streamers and influencers will be on-site to stream and create content around the event.
NLC Spring Playoffs
Earlier in the NLC Spring Playoffs, Los Ratones seemed to have lost their way with their match against Nord Esports, which left many fans concerned.
However, they came to life in the lower bracket after defeating Venomcrest Esports.
Verdant stood in their way as the final challenge before Los Ratones could proceed to the finals in Copenhagen.
Ultimately, it wasn’t enough as Los Ratones looked back in form and stronger than ever, taking the series in a 3-0 sweep.
Leagues Disrupt
Awaiting Los Ratones will be UK-based Ruddy Sack, founded by Jake ‘DonJake’ Morley, and co-owned with online personalities Jakob ‘YamatoCannon’ Mebdi and Christian ‘IWDominate’ Rivera.
The team will aim to be the immovable object to Los Ratones’ unstoppable force.
Ruddy Sack have proven themselves a strong threat, being one of only two teams to take a game off Nord Esports throughout the season, the other being fellow Brits Bulldog Esports.
If Los Ratones can surpass them in the lower bracket, they’ll face Nord Esports in the grand final.
Nord Esports has been the only NLC team to defeat Los Ratones.
The question is: can they do it again, with the Los Ratones hype train barrelling towards them?
