The upcoming mobile game will have a lot of exciting features exclusive to its PC counterpart, according to a recent leak.

Around a month ago, Riot Games confirmed that Valorant Mobile is real and is being made by Lightspeed, the same developers who created PUBG Mobile.

However, the mobile iteration of the first-person shooter will only be available in China at first, with a worldwide release planned for a currently unknown date.

These alleged new details for the upcoming game were reported on X (formerly Twitter) by ValorantMobileX and suggest that there will be a lot to be excited about come the game’s eventual release.

The mobile iteration will exclusive maps, battle passes, and skins—some of which can be earned for free through missions.

The game will also have Valorant’s newly announced gifting centre feature however, the mobile version will seemingly have the community’s most-requested feature before its PC counterpart.

Valorant Mobile will likely have a built-in replay system, something the Valorant community have been begging for since the PC game’s release five years ago.

And not only will you be able to watch back your Valorant matches, the leak suggests you’ll be able to share clips from these replays to other players using a “TikTok-like shorts system” inside the app/

This will essentially create a social media within the game in which players can post their own clips as well as watch and like those posted by others.

If these details are real, Valorant mobile will seemingly have a large focus on the social side of the game, seeing as there will be a profile system and that will seemingly be customisable using the new inventory system.

Likely similar to the collection tab in League of Legends, the inventory will show players their avatar, titles, skins, agents, sprays, avatar frames, and fragments.

The mobile game will also feature the ability to create custom rooms, which will probably be used for private matches with friends in which the host could potentially set custom rules.

Mobile players will also be able to spectate their friends’ matches, another huge missing feature from the PC version. The spectate feature will need to be delayed or locked to friends’ perspectives in order to prevent cheating.

The leak also mentions another spectator mode with a “VCT format.” While this could just mean an in-built way for players to watch live Valorant esports matches, it could also suggest that the mobile game will have its own competitive scene.

Mobile esports are growing rapidly. This year’s Esports World Cup will feature five different mobile games including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Teamfight Tactics.

It’s why Team Vitality recently partnered with Bigetron to form a new mobile esports division while simultaneously taking advantage of the Indonesian org’s huge following in Southeast Asia.
