British esports organisation, Fnatic, and McDonald’s UK have announced a brand-new partnership centred around special promotional events throughout the year.
To celebrate the start of the latest partnership between an esports organisation and a food brand, Fnatic opened their London HQ to promote the new McSpicy chicken burger with Frank’s RedHot sauce.
In attendance at this special launch event were numerous influencers and Fnatic staff, who were treated to the newest version of the McSpicy with an extra punch of spice from Frank’s RedHot.
As Fnatic CEO Sam Mathews put it, “At Fnatic, we’re always looking to partner with brands that truly understand and celebrate gaming culture. McDonald’s shares our commitment to creating memorable, community-first experiences.”
He further added, “This collaboration is all about bringing people together; whether it’s over epic plays or bold flavours. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to show fans what’s coming next.”
The pricing for the new McSpicy range with Frank’s RedHot is:
McSpicyXFrank’s RedHot – £5.99
McSpicyXFrank’s RedHot Medium Meal – £7.99
RedHot Mayo – £0.50
However, these prices may vary across restaurants in the UK.
The fast-food superchain will work with Fnatic to promote its latest collaborations to the fans during what has been a positive 2025 season so far, with the team recently qualifying for VCT Masters Toronto.
More special events are planned for the future, as both brands aim to continue working together to create exciting experiences for fans to enjoy.
This comes as part of McDonald’s continued push to connect with Gen Z audiences. With other promotions including The Stormzy Meal, You Choose interactive books, A Minecraft Movie Happy Meal, and the newest Pokémon Happy Meal.
This partnership is the latest in the list of food and beverage sponsors for the British esports organisation, also sponsored by Red Bull earlier this year and Jack Link’s in previous years.
