Esports tournament organiser PGL has announced the PGL CS2 RMR 2024 broadcast talent line-up, and it includes plenty of UK talent.
The RMR (Regional Major Ranking) allows teams to reach the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) PGL Major, which runs from March 17th to 31st 2024 in Copenhagen’s Royal Arena.
The European RMRs will take place from February 14th to 17th (A) and February 19th to 22nd (B) in Bucharest, Romania.
The APAC RMR will run from February 26th to 28th in Shanghai, while the American RMR is in Monterrey from March 1st to 4th.
Brits in the PGL CS2 RMR 2024 broadcast talent line-up include Pala and Veracity (desk hosts), as well as Jacky, Vince Hill, Dinko (Northern Ireland/UK), HenryG, Machine, YouM3, BDog, CodyCasts and Ne0kai (casters).
There’s also James Banks (interviewer), and former player Esio, Jak3y, Sam Davies, ItsRandall and more on board (as observers). The full list can be seen below:
Ne0kai said: “We are back ladies and gents. Absolutely ecstatic to be joining PGL for the RMR. Will be jumping on the mic with none other than the retiree himself CodyCasts to run it back. An honour to be involved, see you soon Romania.”
James Banks added: “Thankful to PGL for having me for the first ever RMR for CS2, it’s an honour! Teams hoping to reach their dream of the Major, the emotions, the energy, it’s always so special, it will be a wild of rollercoaster of success for some and heartbreak for others once again!”
Veracity said: “I’m SUPER excited to kick off 2024 as a host for the PGL RMR! On the grind to make my 2024 goals happen and I’m SO happy to be a part of the first CS2 Major.”
BDog commented: “Being a part of the first CS2 Major Cycle is an honour and a privilege! I’m really excited to follow the storylines of the Asia and America broadcasts alongside LucyLuce.”
Jacky gave a shoutout to the observers, and said: “The raw human emotion you see during the RMRs is always unmatched. Can’t wait to tell those storylines alongside Vince.”
The news comes after the separate IEM Katowice 2024 broadcast talent line-up was announced.
