British Super Smash Bros Ultimate player Bloom4Eva won the latest Invasion tournament last weekend, adding to his growing list of achievements.
The event was Team Regen’s fourth Invasion tournament since the end of the pandemic, and it took place on the weekend of April 15th and 16th 2023.
Invasion offered competitors the first all best of five throughout bracket event in the UK. The event had 299 attendees from all over the UK, as well as European talent from Norway, Sweden, Finland, France and Spain.

The win comes after Bloom4Eva won the Platinum Smash World Tour event and European Major VCA 2022.
Bloom4Eva beat Luuigi in Invasion grand finals
Bloom4Eva took the event over Luugi in the grand finals, after being sent to the losers side of bracket by Luugi in the Winners Semi-Finals.
It is the 18th time the two have played in a bracket setting, with Bloom currently holding the set record between the two, 15-3.
This also marks Bloom’s fourth Invasion victory, winning the event in August 2021, January 2022, April 2022 and now April 2023.
France’s Glutonny ended up taking third, falling to Luugi in the Winners Finals and to Bloom in the Losers Final.
Bloom4Eva also won the Squad Strike side event, one of three of the side events at this April’s Invasion tournament, alongside the Singles main event.
France ended up taking the regional crew battle side event, winning over London. East of England, Bloom and Luugi’s home region, ended up not competing in the event.
The final side event, Doubles, was taken home by the Spanish duo of AndresFN and Sisqui.

Wade ‘AggresiveDuck’ White is a tournament and event organiser for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate in London and Essex, with events reaching as many as 250+ attendees.
