The UK Call of Duty (CoD) League franchise team London Royal Ravens have announced their 2023 roster – with a few returning players.

UK players Joey ‘Gismo’ Owen and Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris remain on the team, with another UK player, Matthew ‘Skrapz’ Marshall, returning to the organisation.

Skrapz was a part of the original Royal Ravens line-up when the team was announced back in 2019, and now he’s back with them after a break of more than a year from tier-one CoD.

Another returning player is American, Paul ‘PaulEhx’ Avila, who was most recently with the New York Subliners and previously played for the Ravens for a few stints in 2021 and 2022.

Rounding out the roster is Canadian player Obaid ‘Asim’ Asim, who was most recently with the LA Guerrillas.

The team was announced in a video below:

Skrapz was recently linked with a Challengers roster for the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 season, according to IntelCDL, but today it’s been confirmed he will be playing in tier one CoD again with the Ravens.

Skrapz said on Twitter the move is an “even bigger blessing than the first time”.

“I’ve cried tears a few times since signing my contract,” he added. “It still doesn’t seem real, time to get my head down. I can’t believe it’s happened.”

Nastie said he is excited for this season to start with the squad, while Asim added that he’s excited to be a part of this team and organisation this year.

Zer0 rejoined the Ravens last year.

The Royal Ravens 2023 roster news comes as the latest Call of Duty game, the new version of Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), is about to launch on Friday October 28th 2022.
