Gfinity has announced that British comedian and presenter Tom Deacon will be hosting the Elite Series, which gets underway on July 7th.
Gfinity made the announcement in a video tweet which shows Tom rounding up the talent to help host the upcoming tournament, complete with some Street Fighter cosplay.
Deacon has worked for radio broadcasters including Capital FM, BBC Radio 1 and Capital South Coast.
He’s also performed on TV programmes such as The Rob Brydon Show and has hosted Videogame Nation on Ginx TV. He won the Chortle Student Comedian Of The Year award back in 2007.
Gfinity;s announcement is the latest in a series around the Elite Series – the company has been pumping out content every day in the lead-up to the tournament’s start date.
Gfinity has also launched a swish new website.
