“As we promised, we are returning to CSGO in a big way, with two outstanding teams, elite players and incredible personalities,” said Team Dignitas President and UK esports veteran Michael “ODEE” O’Dell.
“Signing this incredible team of players is just another step in the new foundation we are building for this legendary franchise.
“We look forward to several more exciting announcements supporting our fans and partners in the coming weeks.”
“Team Dignitas is a powerhouse brand, now strengthened by the backing of the Philadelphia 76ers; we are extremely proud to represent their colors,” added Ricardo “fox” Pacheco, Captain of Team Dignitas CS:GO.
“We are eager to begin practicing with this new lineup, we’ve all known each other a long time and believe we will have good synergy.”
This announcement follows Team Dignitas’ February 2017 signing of an all-female CSGO team.
In September 2016, NBA brand the Philadelphia 76ers acquired a controlling interest in Team Dignitas.
