ESL has teamed up with Bandai Namco to host the Tekken 7 UK and Ireland Championships.
The game, which is set to be released on June 2nd, will be featured in six locations across the UK and Ireland.
Players will be able to battle it out to gain a place in the grand finals, which will be held at London Comic Con on May 26th. The top three players from each event will qualify for the finals.
There is currently no prize pool for the tournament, but an ESL spokesperson told Esports News UK that there will be free merch for competitiors, as well as a championship belt for the MCM winner. There may also be other prizes ‘in the pipeline’ but those are to be confirmed.

Outside of the competitive setting, Tekken 7 will also be available for casual play at those dates too.
Tekken 7 launches on June 2nd for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
