The Last Resort (TLR) have returned to the UK CSGO scene, having picked up a new team.
The line-up consists of several players who have placed in the top three to five at events over the past year, with Dudley “dUdLeY” Morris featuring in the winning lineup of the recent ESL EPS UK winning team.
Players include:
- Miran “SpeedyG” Hoyle (Team Captain)
- Bradley “HoodluM” Ratcliff
- Roger “Paynt” Paynter
- Adam “Alig” Robinson-Witts
- Dudley “dUdLeY” Morris
- Fanny “Fanny” Hermansson
Michael “Chefinal” Robinson, owner of The Last Resort, told eSports News UK: “I’ve been between jobs for a while and I wanted to establish myself with a good UK company in the scene or industry that we are in.
“I was in the industry before, but being self employed has a number of problems.
“Another reason why I was waiting for the right opportunity is that it’s an exciting time in UK CSGO at the moment with the ESL UK Premiership, Epic.LAN, Insomnia and so on.
“It all comes down to sponsors as well, because to run a team and organisation correctly, I feel it comes down to the correct marketing and PR, rather than just throwing money at it for the sake of it.
“I’ve always loved UK eSports as well; to not see my team compete at events disappoints me.”
Team captain Miran “SpeedyG” Hoyle added: “I feel privileged to have the opportunity to represent an old-school org like TLR who have been around for ages.
“With this line-up I feel we have the right balance and tools with the full support from TLR to make a positive impact in the UK scene.
“We will take it one step at a time and will be ready to do our best at i-series and any other future events. On this note I’d like to thank everyone from TLR for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to achieve our goals.”
