100 Thieves have unveiled three pieces of their new Counter-Strike roster, all but completing the new roster.
100 Thieves announced their re-entry into Counter-Strike in November, signing FaZe’s veteran stalwart Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard shortly after.
Nicolai ‘device’ Reedtz is expected to complete the roster, with multiple reports tying the Danish AWPing legend to the project.
Who are 100 Theives’ new signings?
Alex ‘poiii’ Nyholm Sundgren will act as a star rifler in the roster, following a strong period at Alliance. The Swede has climbed up the region’s teams to get his first international berth.
poiii has been a stand-out piece for Alliance for a significant period in Tier 3, performing strongly at various LAN events such as EPIC.LAN 45, where Alliance finished third.
19-year-old William ‘sirah’ Kjærsgaard has also stood out at that level, in European LAN events where he has starred for Ecstatic.
100T will be hoping poiii and sirah will be able to continue that form as they embark on those local LANs to build a VRS ranking.
André ‘Ag1l’ Gil joins 100T following the departure of SAW’s core to join BC.Game.
The 22-year-old was somewhat of a junior partner in the established project, averaging a 1.06 rating in 2025.
The roster will be coached by former Astralis IGL, Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander, who has transitioned to coaching following his retirement.
Long road ahead for 100T
100 Thieves have opted to sign individual players, rather than sign an established VRS core.
In the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), a team’s ranking is tied to a core of three players, meaning buying that core also guarantees the rank.
In signing SAW’s core, BC.Game has secured SAW’s previous rank, earning them an invite to IEM Krakow 2026.
This means that 100T will have to start from scratch, participating in open tournaments to get their first wins on the board, and guarantee later invites to bigger tournaments.
Last year, Ninjas in Pyjamas took the same route, ultimately taking about six months to break through to Tier 1 events and qualifying for the second major of the year in Budapest.
100T’s new General Manager, Graham ‘messioso’ Pitt, is well-known for his understanding of the VRS ranking system, so perhaps he can shorten the time needed to get there.
The increased proliferation of LAN events should help expedite that process.
100T is now:
André ‘Ag1l’ Gil
William ‘sirah’ Kjærsgaard
Alex ‘poiii’ Nyholm Sundgren
Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard
Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander (coach)
