A new one-pack expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket called Crimson Blaze is coming to the mobile game on December 17th.
The latest trailer revealed some of the new cards that will be added to the game, including new Mega Evolutions.
As many predicted, the new Pokémon Pocket expansion revolves around the Kanto starter Mega Evolutions.
Mega Blastoise, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Charizard Y are all coming to the game, but no Mega Charizard X as far as we know.

The frequent updates refreshing the game is why Pokémon Pocket made more profit than Pokémon Go in its first year.
Of the three, many expect Mega Charizard Y, which stars on the pack art, to be the strongest by far.
The 220 HP Pokémon has a four-energy attack, which deals a ridiculous 250 damage — enough to one-shot every Pokémon in the game.
However, this attack also makes Charizard Y deal 50 damage to itself, knocking it down to 170 HP.
This is extremely risky as killing a Mega Pokémon is an automatic win, and it can’t be healed by Lillie until the next turn.
However, Mega Venusaur also looks relatively strong with an all-time high HP of 240 or 270 with the Leaf Cape tool.
Its four energy (two colourless) attack deals 120 damage and inflicts the target with both poison and sleep.
Sleep has a 50% chance to stop the card from attacking or retreating, forcing it to take extra poison damage, which could be lethal along with Venusaur’s durability.

As for Mega Blastoise, the unimaginative card doesn’t feel much different to Blatoise EX.
The 230 HP Pokémon can deal 120 damage for three energy, but the attack additionally deals 50 damage to two benched Pokémon if Blastoise has six energy.
The effect is good for Cyrus, but it doesn’t feel worth the cost which is likely higher because of Misty.
However, the low energy cost for the basic attack could make this card stronger than people think.
Other new cards coming to the game

In addition to the Megas, the new trailer also revealed some new trainer and item cards.
Serena looks the most interesting as the trainer adds a Mega Evolution card from the deck to your hand, making it a crucial piece in many decks.
Meanwhile, Clemont will add two random cards from amongst Magneton, Heliolisk, and Clemont’s Backpack from the deck to your hand.
The Backpack card hasn’t been revealed yet, but a card to help draw Magneton could be very useful for electric decks.
Finally, the Quick-Grow Extract item allows you to evolve an in-play grass Pokémon by finding a card from your deck.
There was also a Sunflora card which deals an extra 30 damage if Quick-Grow Extract is in your discard pile.
There’s also a new version of Ditto, which can copy attacks from your benched non-EX Pokémon.
And new Trubbish and Solosis cards suggest that Garbodor and Reuniclus are coming to the game.
