Apex Legends Season 27 Map Rotation, Weapon Rotation, Buffs, and Nerfs

Details for Apex Legends Season 27: Amped have been revealed. Amidst the usual bug fixes, audio changes, and Quality of Life updates, the game’s rotations and Legend changes are confirmed.

Here are the Map Rotations, Weapons Rotations, and major Legend changes for the season ahead.

Map and Weapon Rotations in Apex Legends Season 27

For Apex Legends Season 27, the following maps will be in rotation for both Pubs and Ranked:

  • Olympus
  • Broken Moon
  • World’s Edge

Olympus has also gone through a rework. Four new POIs have been added: Somers University (replacing Orbital Cannon), Gravity Engine (replacing Energy Depot), Stabilizer (replacing Docks), and Dockyard.

EA and Respawn have also added more cover in open rotation spaces around Phase Driver, Oasis, Clinic, Hammond Labs, and Estates.

For Mixtape, the following maps are in rotation:

  • TDM:
    • Skull Town
    • Thunderdome
    • Fragment
    • Estates
  • Control:
    • Barometer
    • Labs
    • Production Yard
    • Lava Siphon
  • Gun Run:
    • Estates
    • Skull Town
    • Zeus
    • Thunderdome

Meanwhile, Wildcard will be on King’s Canyon.

Gold Weapons rotation in Apex Legends Season 27 is as follows:

  • Alternator SMG
  • G7 Scout
  • Havoc
  • Brocek Compound Bow
  • Akimbo Mozambique

Additionally, the C.A.R. SMG has entered Care Package rotation, while the Triple Take returns to floor loot.

These rotations in Apex Legends Season 27 will be those that Red Bull Legends Inn’s confirmed creators will play on in December.

Major Legend Buffs and Nerfs

Firstly, Valkyrie will receive buffs to help bring her up to speed with current gameplay. Her VTOL Jets recharge three times faster, with quicker takeoff. Her Skyward Dive Ultimate also launches at faster speeds, and Missile Swarm no longer deals self-damage.

Overall, Valkyrie will have a more reliable Tactical ability, faster cooldowns, improved movement, and new premier upgrades.

Rampart is also receiving a refresh in Season 27.

Amped Cover now adapts to gameplay and features a roof to enhance shielding capabilities. Her new Locked and Loaded Level 2 Upgrade also means that players can gain faster reloads and infinite ammo when behind Amped Cover with an intact shield.

Rampart’s buffs are centred explicitly around bringing her walls, which are core to her playstyle, up to date with gameplay.

Horizon’s previous nerfs are being slightly reversed, with increased lift spoon and hover time added to her Gravity Lift. This ability also has a reduced cooldown and reduced delay before the cooldown starts.

Overall, Horizon’s cooldowns on all abilities should boost her usability.

Meanwhile, Revenant’s maximum possible velocity in Shadow Pounce has been decreased.
