NLC Playoffs schedule set

Los Ratones will take on KAOS in their debut NLC 2025 Summer Playoffs match as they seek to win a third NLC title in a row. Nord vs Bulldog will set Los Ratones’ Upper Bracket Semis opponents, providing Los Ratones win against KAOS’s Danish roster in the Bo3 contest on July 30.

Verdant, who finished 3-1 in Group A, will play Venomcrest Esports (2-2), with the undefeated Rich Gang Esports (4-0) taking on DMG Esports, both on July 31.

LLS and Ruddy will enter the Lower Bracket Round 1 as they finished last with zero victories in their respective groups.

Los Ratones’ regular season heading into the NLC Playoffs

Los Ratones went undefeated in Group A, finishing with a 4-0 record after the Best of 1s, and the rats are huge favourites on esports betting sites. A brawl of a contest in their final group match against Verdant put The Rat’s record seriously at risk, but Los Ratones won out despite ending with an overall negative, 13-19, KD record.

Los Ratones also survived Caedrel standing in against DMG. The Owner/Coach was forced to play in Crownie’s absence, taking over as support alongside Rekkles, who played ADC. Finishing with a 1/1/17 KDA, the Brit was carried without stress to a 100% win-rate in the league.

What happened in the NLC Summer Group Stage?

KAOS esport enter the Playoffs as the bottom remaining seed from Group B, where Ruddy came last following the separation of Christian ‘IWDominate’ Rivera and Jakob ‘YamatoCannon’ Mebdi from the project, with Ruddy dropping the Sack and simply becoming Ruddy Esports once again.

The restructuring of the organisation resulted in their Co-Owner also standing in, as Don Jake featured for Ruddy. Sadly, that will be the most memorable aspect of what was largely a season to forget.

Elsewhere, Rich Gang Esports go into the Playoffs as the undefeated Group B team, upsetting Nord Esports in the process, with Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankowski struggling on Vi in the match. The lower half of the bracket will see one of Venomcrest, Rich Gang, Verdant or DMG in the Upper Bracket final, making for interesting viewing.

With Verdant almost upsetting Los Ratones in the groups, can they go one step further and challenge the talented content group in the playoffs?
