The broadcasting talent for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Toronto has been announced, with five British names in the line-up.

G2 Esports and Fnatic are among 12 teams competing for a share of the $1m (£741,300) prize pool. The winning team will receive a $350,000 (£259,500) share of the pot.

There are high stakes with it being the second international event of the year. The tournament could decide the first few teams that advance to Valorant Champions Paris.

An announcement from the VCT, has named five British on-air talents that will appear at the tournament, which is staged next month.

British line-up at VCT Masters

Yinsu Collins will be one of two hosts at the VCT Masters in Toronto, as part of the British broadcasting talent at the tournament.

The British interviewer, host, and journalist has appeared at several notable Valorant events including Valorant Champions events between 2021 and 2024.

She will be joined by four fellow Brits who will do commentary during the VCT Masters.

Those include Brennon “Bren” Hook, Michael “Hypoc” Robins, Lauren “Pansy” Scott and Josh “Sideshow” Wilkinson.

All four have extensive experience working at Valorant tournaments in recent years.

Hypoc reacted to the news on X, writing: “Long time coming, but I can finally say I’ll be back at a global event with the best crew in the business.”

Pansy also tweeted her reaction, expressing excitement to work with Hypoc and American analyst Melanie “Mel” Caporie.

When is VCT Masters Toronto?

The VCT Masters Toronto tournament is set to take place from June 7th to 22nd, bringing Valorant competition to Canada on the global stage.

There are 12 teams competing, four of which have received byes into the playoffs for finishing top of their Stage 1 leagues.

Teams receiving a bye include G2 Esports, XLG Esports, Fnatic and Rex Regum Qeon.

The other eight teams – Sentinels, Mibr, Gen.G Esports, Paper Rex, Team Heretics, Team Liquid, Bilibili Gaming and Wolves Esports – will have to go through the Swiss stage of the tournament to advance to the playoffs.

London-based team Fnatic qualified for the VCT Masters Toronto after defeating Team Liquid in the VCT EMEA Stage 1 Playoffs.

Teams in the Swiss stage will have to win twice to advance. However, those who lose twice will crash out of the tournament.

The Swiss Stage runs from June 7th to June 11th, with the playoffs getting underway on June 13th. The Grand Final will take place on June 22nd.
