Teamfight Tactics: Remix Rumble turns it up to eleven as the beloved music-themed set goes live for all players today.
The limited-time game mode boasts a returning line-up of K/DA, Heartsteel, True Damage, Pentakill, DJ Sona, Maestro Jhin, and Jazz Bard.
Featuring the special guest of the ‘Headliners’ set mechanic, the revival will also see the debut of new augments and opening encounters.
The festival will also drop it like it’s Bach with the inclusion of Cyber City’s ‘Hacks’ mechanic, unit bag size increases, and a special event pass headlined by the Pentakill Siege Minion.
Remix Rumble will hit its crescendo on July 19th, when Maestro Jhin makes his final curtain call.
The Pre-Chorus
As is traditional for set revivals, Remix Rumble will feature modern Teamfight Tactics (TFT) mechanics.
For the opening act, what better excuse to stay within the genre than with the debut of new opening encounters?
The star-studded billing includes Ahri, Akali, and Zac, who will switch up the beat in every game they appear in.
The performer parade includes:
- Ahri: Ahri makes Headliners appear in your shop as if you are 1 level higher.
- Akali: Akali makes Headliner champions grant plus-one to another one of their traits.
- Zac: Cyber City is invading the Remix Rumble Revival. Watch out for Hacks!
The Chorus
The Set 10 revival will also feature new augments alongside returning classics for fans to enjoy.
Prepare for new collaborations between your favourite bands.
The full set-list features:
- Rap Queen: K/DA + True Damage (Gold): The first time your strongest Akali casts, K/DA and True Damage champions gain a percentage of the other’s bonus. Gain an Akali.
- Retro Gamers: Heartsteel + 8-bit (Gold): Heartsteel Champions gain Attack Damage for each 8-bit champion fielded. Whenever you beat a high score, gain Bonus Hearts multiplied by the number of times it’s been beaten. Gain an Aphelios and a Garen.
- The Band Is All Here!: Pentakill + Punk (Gold): When you have three 3-star Punks, gain a Yorick and a Bloodthirster. Punks gain Damage Amp for each Pentakill champion fielded. Gain a Gnar and a Twitch.
- Rave Festival: Disco + EDM (Gold): Disco Balls cast the selected EDM champion’s Ability at a portion of the effectiveness. Gain a Jax and a Nami.
- Mesmerising Performance: K/DA (Gold): K/DA champions gain Bonus Ability Power. 10 seconds into combat, all enemies and non-K/DA units are forced to dance for 2 seconds. Gain a Lillia and a Kai’Sa.
- Party Starters: Crowd Divers (Gold): Crowd Divers gain Attack Speed and leap at 50% Health instead of on death. Gain 2 Crowd Divers.
- Shield Bash: Sentinels (Gold): Sentinels gain bonus Armour and Magic Resist. Every 4 seconds, their next attack deals 75% of their total resistance as magic damage. Gain a Garen.
The Bridge
Remix Rumble will also change its tune by adjusting the size of the shared unit pool.
The shared unit pool can greatly affect a music trainee’s chances to hit those 3-stars, as the possibilities shrink with fellow trainees going for the same units.
This revival increases unit pools to allow players to jam to their favourite genres, even when contested.
The bag sizes are:
- 1-costs: 50 copies
- 2-costs: 40 copies
- 3-costs: 30 copies
- 4-costs: 12 copies
- 5-costs: 10 copies
The Outro
Fans of a good comeback will find much to enjoy, as Remix Rumble will see the return of the Revival Ladder.
Previously seen in Festival of Beasts, each rank offers free rewards for players to enjoy.
For those looking for the VIP package, the revival will also include a special event pass where players can earn a chart-topping amount of Remix Rumble–themed rewards.
A new Little Legend, the Pentakill Siege Minion, will also be making their debut performance, exclusive to the event pass.
