Ubisoft and Visa have announced a three-year strategic gaming partnership in the United Kingdom and Europe.
The collaboration unites Ubisoft, a leading video game developer with a large esports presence, with Visa, aiming to enhance gaming experiences and provide unique opportunities for players and Visa cardholders.
Ubisoft confirmed the news in a post on its official X account.
What does Ubisoft and Visa’s partnership mean?
The partnership between Ubisoft and Visa will focus on key titles from the game developer, aiming to improve the gaming experience for players.
Ubisoft is known for titles such as Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six Siege, and the recently launched Just Dance 2025 Edition.
Select Visa cardholders in Europe and the UK will have access to exclusive in-game content, Ubisoft+ subscription benefits, and game codes through promotional campaigns.

He said that more information on the partnership will be shared soon. Over the next three years, Visa and Ubisoft will explore innovative projects that extend beyond gaming.
While details are forthcoming, the collaboration could introduce new ways for players to engage with games and digital payments.
Visa has extensive experience in sports and entertainment sponsorships, including partnerships with the Olympics and football governing body FIFA.
Ubisoft’s Esports Legacy
Ubisoft is a prominent force in the esports scene, and its work has led to Visa expanding its footprint into the gaming sector after already forging a host of partnerships across the entertainment and sports sectors.
One Ubisoft title that has cultivated a robust competitive community is Rainbow Six Siege.
Events like the Six Invitational have drawn significant viewership numbers. In 2024, more than 300,000 peak viewers watched online.
Ubisoft supports the esports ecosystem with organised leagues and tournaments with substantial prize pools across various titles.
Other titles such as Brawlhalla, a fighting game, and Trackmania, a racing title, contribute to Ubisoft’s diverse esports presence. The partnership with Visa may enhance these esports offerings, potentially through exclusive content or promotions.
