G2 Esports founder and former CEO Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodríguez has launched the beta of his new paid offering, known as The Circle.
Carlos, who departed G2 last year after defending a video of him partying with controversial personality Andrew Tate, said The Circle is a ‘performance-driven society, or community’.
After months of Carlos teasing this new offering online, The Circle website is now live, and promises ‘extraordinary teachings, connections that matter and a continuous support system’ for $98 per month, or an annual fee of $960.
For this, The Circle promises a members-only community with Q&As, access to events, new teachings, perks and other opportunities.
“At the highest level, you have the elite, those that very often manage the world and lead the world through very different verticals, whether it’s tech, media, entertainment… and at the bottom, you have an aspirational path,” Carlos said.
“I always talk about my circle, with my people, and how important it is having people close to you who you trust. Every time I invest in companies, I invest in companies from people in my circle, and every time I connect people I consider very high-profile connections, I connect them with my inner circle.”
The Circle website lists various mentors across different sectors such as real estate, business, fitness, e-commerce, copywriting and more.

Carlos, The Circle
The website states: “At the inner circle, the highest, elitist level, The Circle possesses access to perks that not even money can buy. The quality and depth of this network of competent, successful and often renowned super-humans branches globally and infiltrates every relevant vertical imaginable from luxury, to entertainment, media, politics, manufacturing and the list goes on. This is the endgame.
“The Circle provides teachings and strategies that can help you generate wealth. From wealth creation techniques to real estate insights and business excellence, you’ll have access to resources that can empower you to achieve financial success.”
Some have joined The Circle and praised it, while others have criticised it, with some members of the HLTV forum calling it ‘a pyramid scheme’.
Carlos launches The Circle after esports career was cut short
Spanish personality Carlos previously competed as a League of Legends esports player, for teams including SK Gaming and G2.
He went on to work as CEO of G2, before leaving after he defended a video of him partying with Andrew Tate, which led to community backlash.
He has been known for posting contentious tweets after leaving G2. For example, yesterday he tweeted: “Therapists are not gonna fix your problems, they will likely exacerbate the problem. Blocking anyone disagreeing.”
He ended up blocking some accounts including esports organisation GamerLegion:
Some have compared Carlos’ The Circle to some of Andrew Tate’s online teaching services, such as The War Room and The Real World.
The news comes as Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan today face several charges.
