League of Legends Worlds viewing parties in the UK: Locations and listings

For those of you who can’t make it to the Berlin Arena on Saturday October 31st for the 2015 League of Legends World Championship grand final, there’s a bunch of viewing parties to attend in Birmingham, London and more.
Here’s our roundup of locations for Worlds’ ‘Super Mega Viewing Parties’ in the UK.

Brooklyn Bowl, The O2 Arena, London
Taking place from 10.30am to 7pm, this is probably the biggest viewing party in the UK for the League of Legends Worlds final, with a capacity of 20,000.
It’s at The O2 and tickets cost £15. Of course, food and drink will be available to buy on the day, plus there will be prizes up for grabs.

Gfinity Arena, Fulham Broadway Retail Centre, London
Gfinity is promising official Riot giveaways and “some other surprises” at its Worlds final viewing party running from 10.30am to 7pm at the Gfinity Arena.
The venue boasts two custom-built stages, Vue’s 4K cinema screens with surround sound – and room for 600 spectators, with cinema seats. There will be live commentators, hosts and analysts, as well as Gfinity-exclusive discounts on Vue’s snacks and drinks on offer.

Meltdown, London
London’s dedicated eSports bar in Caledonian Road will be hosting Worlds grand final viewing party, followed by 5v5 matches against other Meltdown bars across the world.
There are prizes up for grabs, as well as a Halloween party in the evening, complete with live DJs and free drinks for the best costumes (not to mention some special cocktails created for the big occasion).
There will event be a prediction contest happening on the day, with more prizes and Riot Games gear to be won. It’s also free to attend.

League of Legends Worlds: Which teams will be at the quarter finals in London?

Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, Scotland
Glasgow Concert Halls claims this is Scotland’s “first Super Mega Viewing Party”! There will be giveaways in the venue which has a capacity of around 2,000.

Grosvenor Casino, Bradford
Starting from 10am with lunch at midday, the organisers of this 18+ event are also thinking of holding a best-dressed competition for cosplayers.
There’s also an after-party including beer pong, a four pint pitcher of beer for £9.95 and a cocktail pitcher for £14.95.
There’s a £5 breakfast deal with toast, eggs on toast, bacon sandwiches and sausage sandwiches, plus a beer, burger and a bet for £7.95.

Croke Park stadium, Dublin, Ireland
League fans in Ireland are being catered for with this event taking place at Croke Park in Dublin from 12 midday to 7.30pm.
It’s priced at €15 per person, and capacity is a whopping 82,300, so there’s plenty of room

Warwick Student Cinema
Warwick League and the Film Society will be hosting a finals viewing on the big screen in L3. There will be a refreshments stall, plus visitors can bring their own food and drink too. In the spirit of Halloween, cosplay and costumes are welcome.
Society members get in free, non-society members can pay £2 for entry, and external visitors are charged £3 to get in. Tickets will be available on the door or can be reserved.
