CoinPoker named presenting sponsor of seven-day PokerGO High Stakes Poker live run

CoinPoker has been named the presenting sponsor of a seven-day run of High Stakes Poker livestreams set to air on PokerGO from August 25-31.

The broadcasts will take place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, with PokerGO planning seven consecutive days of live high-stakes cash game coverage.

As presenting sponsor, CoinPoker will be integrated into the livestreams and related promotional content throughout the week as the operator looks to continue its expansion in the online poker market.

CoinPoker expands its presence at poker events

The sponsorship follows another recent CoinPoker announcement. On August 18, the operator launched its new $1 Daily Dollar tournament and increased the guarantee for its Sunday edition to $5,000, following an opening Sunday event that attracted 3,740 entries from 2,375 unique players.

CoinPoker ambassador Alejandro Lococo is also among the first players confirmed for the High Stakes Poker lineup. He will be joined by high-stakes cash-game player Andrew Robl and Rick Salomon, with additional participants expected to be announced before the broadcasts begin.

The week-long schedule gives CoinPoker a presence across multiple broadcasts, rather than the single sponsored episode it would have had previously. CP’s ambassador Lococo, by being part of the announced player field, gives the operator representation both through the presenting sponsorship and at the table during the seven-day run.

PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks said the seven-day format will be a first for High Stakes Poker.

“Seven straight days of live High Stakes Poker is something we’ve never done before, and we’re excited to have CoinPoker alongside us as presenting sponsor as we deliver what should be an incredible week of action for poker fans,” Hanks said.

PokerGO will stream the cash games live each day from August 25 through August 31.
