A new platform known as World of Duels (WODuels) has launched, allowing gamers to take part in player vs player esports duels, competitions and tournaments.

The WODuels platform allows gamers of all skill levels to play and wager against one another in 'a safe, secure and fair environment, achieved through advanced matchmaking and a zero-tolerance cheating policy'.

Players are matched based on their individual stats, ratings and feedback to ensure contests are being fought between gamers of similar abilities. To make sure matches are conducted fairly, players are also advised to record their game footage and upload it to the WODuels platform as proof of victory.

WODuels has a zero-tolerance cheating policy and offers a safe and secure environment for all players. It has assembled a team of expert judges who are on hand 24/7 to monitor duels and their outcomes, and review the recorded game footage in order to settle any disputes in the unlikely event they occur.

Duels take the form of head to head challenges (and soon multiplayer tournaments). They currently include FIFA 2019, FIFA 2018, Fortnite, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO), Overwatch and Rocket League, with more to be added in the coming months.

WODuels also says it's at the cutting edge of cryptocurrencies, with players wagering with WODCoins. These are currently purchased with Bitcoins or via PayPal, with more payment options such as debit/credit card to be added shortly.

"We have built the WODuels platform so that it is safe, secure and 100% fair. This means players can enjoy the thrill of competitive gaming, with the added excitement of wagering on the outcome."

WODCoins are always worth €0.10 and offer gamers a fast and secure way to collect, receive and exchange their esports earnings, with FIAT currencies and other cryptocurrencies.

WODCoins aim to become the common currency for pro gamers, by allowing players from all over the world to bet against each other without incurring any exchange fees.

The site has been built to facilitate a positive and friendly gaming community, with players able to communicate with each over via WODuels' social media channels, such as its Discord channel.

The site also offers a comprehensive content hub packed full of informative game guides, training tips and game studio insights.

Noam Lawi, founder of WODuels, said: "WODuels has been built to be the best place for gamers of all skill levels and abilities to come together and go head-to-head in duels across the most popular online games, and wager on the outcome.

"We have built the WODuels platform so that it is safe, secure and 100% fair. This means players can enjoy the thrill of competitive gaming, with the added excitement of wagering on the outcome, in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

"We have been beta testing the platform and site for a number of months, and over that time have made several changes based on player feedback. We now believe it is ready to launch, and look forward to welcoming new players to the WODuels community."
